USMED

Upskilling workers of SMEs with low Digital intensity

THE PROJECT

USMED (Upskilling workers of SMEs with low Digital intensity) is a European initiative co-funded by the Erasmus+ program, designed to promote digital transformation in the food and accommodation sector. Its goal is to create innovative training pathways that enhance the digital skills of professionals in small and medium-sized enterprises with low digital intensity.

Why USMED

The food and accommodation sector is among the least digitized in Europe. According to Eurostat, only 59% of SMEs have a minimum level of digital intensity, far from the EU's 2030 target of 90% set in the Digital Decade Plan.
