ℹ️ About the Program

USMED Digital Infrastructure is a free e-learning program designed to help VET Providers and trainers, workers, managers, and small business owners in the accommodation and food sector—including hotels, restaurants, catering services, and hospitality establishments—develop digital skills in a practical and targeted manner.

The training materials were developed by a consortium of European experts led by Lascò (Italy), alongside partners Femxa, the Technological University of Shannon, KUBI, DeLab (University of Warsaw), Collegium Carol I, and the Turkish Cooks Federation (TAFED), combining methodological rigor with the real-world operational needs of SMEs.

During the pilot phase, you will be among the first to gain free access to the digital platform and its e-learning content. By participating, you can:

• Receive an official Certificate of Participation and claim your official Europass Digital Credentials upon completing the program and passing the final assessment.

• Help refine the platform by sharing your experience via a brief evaluation questionnaire.

The program features an extensive catalog of 62 Open Educational Resources (OERs), organized into three proficiency levels.

Using a quick initial profiling test developed by the consortium, the platform automatically assigns a personalized learning path tailored to your starting level.

The modules are available in seven languages ​​and cover key topics for hotel and restaurant operations, such as cybersecurity and data protection; digital and team communication; social media management and online reputation; using digital tools to streamline daily operations and problem-solving; use of artificial intelligence and smart tools in the workplace.

3. Complete the modules at your own pace, from any device

4. Upon completion, fill out the brief evaluation survey

5. Download your certificate immediately and, if you wish, request your Europass Digital Credential upon completion of the whole program.
